São Paulo hosts Thiago Pereira swimming clinics and Troféu José Finkel

The Thiago Pereira Swimming Clinics will take place in Santo Amaro, São Paulo, on August 29 and 30. Organized by the Instituto Thiago Pereira, this free initiative is designed for children and adolescents aged 7 to 17. Participants will engage in technical swimming activities and experience-sharing sessions with Olympic medalist Thiago Pereira.

In related swimming news, the Unisanta swimming team is preparing to compete in the Troféu José Finkel 2026 in São Paulo from August 31 to September 4. The competition serves as a selection event for the Brazilian National Team for the Short Course World Championships. Unisanta will be represented by a delegation of 36 swimmers, including athletes such as Fernando Scheffer and Mafê Costa, following recent international performances at the Pan-Pacific championships.
