São Paulo influencer robbed of phone and bank funds in traffic

Influencer Tabata Lenk was robbed of her cellphone and bank funds while stopped in traffic on Avenida Presidente Tancredo Neves in the Ipiranga district of São Paulo. Dashcam footage captured the incident, showing two men on a motorcycle approaching the vehicle. The passenger broke the car window to seize the phone from the dashboard.

Following the theft, the victim reported that unauthorized bank transfers were made from her account. She noted that the criminals managed to access her funds despite not having her passwords or facial recognition data. Nubank stated it would investigate the matter internally. The Public Security Secretariat of São Paulo confirmed that a police report was filed electronically and the case has been referred to the 95th Police District in Heliópolis for investigation.
