Brazilian state education secretariats open recruitment for teachers and interns

The São Paulo State Department of Education (Seduc‑SP) announced a simplified selection process for temporary teachers in the public network starting in the 2027 school year. Candidates can apply to up to two of six technical axes, pay a R$60 fee per axis and must pass an objective test, a discursive essay, a video‑lesson practical, and a titles evaluation. The deadline for most positions is 18 June 2026, with technical‑teacher registrations closing on 19 June. Successful hires will receive an initial salary of R$5,565 per month, plus a R$2,120 dedication bonus for integral‑education schools.

The Pará State Department of Education (Seduc‑PA) opened registrations for a simplified selection process to create a reserve of undergraduate interns. Eligible students enrolled in accredited bachelor's, licentiate or technologist programs may receive a stipend of up to R$1,584.36. Registration is free and ends on 23 June 2026, after which candidates will be classified automatically and invited to present original documents. Interns will work in public schools, regional education directorates or the Seduc headquarters.

Both recruitment drives are conducted online through the official Seduc portals and aim to fill reserve pools for future hiring needs.
