São Paulo monorail works cause overnight closures on Av. Ragueb Chohfi

Construction for the Line 15-Silver monorail in São Paulo will cause overnight closures on Avenida Ragueb Chohfi in the East Zone. The work, which is part of the expansion to include the new Boa Esperança station, will involve total blockages in the direction of Cidade Tiradentes between Rua Luiza de Jesus Ferreira and Avenida Bento Guelfi.

Closures are scheduled daily from 11:00 PM to 4:00 AM until Friday, August 21, 2026. To manage traffic, the Companhia de Engenharia de Tráfego (CET) will implement a reversible lane system, allowing vehicles heading toward Cidade Tiradentes to use the opposite lane (toward São Mateus) between Rua Francisco Barbosa and Avenida Bento Guelfi.

Multiple bus lines will follow alternative itineraries during these hours. Additionally, the bus stop located at Av. Ragueb Chohfi 5.055 will be temporarily relocated 50 meters before the intersection with Rua Luiza de Jesus Ferreira.
