São Paulo Municipal Governments Announce Facility Repairs and Employee Awards

The Araraquara City Hall announced that the Dr. José Roberto Poletti Diagnostic and Back‑up Unit in Vila Melhado will undergo structural repairs, including painting, replacement of door handles, bathroom upgrades and other interventions. No cost or schedule was disclosed, and an expansion of back‑up beds is planned pending the resolution of fiscal‑adjustment restrictions.

In Araras, the municipal administration confirmed that the attendance and discipline prize for public servants who earned the right before 2013 will resume payment in August, following a court decision that had previously suspended the benefit. The city will soon propose retroactive payments after calculating the owed amounts, as mandated by a collective injunction filed by the local civil servants’ union.
