São Paulo municipalities announce community health agent job openings

The municipality of Mirante do Paranapanema in western São Paulo state published Concurso Público № 002/2026 for a single community health agent (ACS) position in the Cuiabá Paulista district. Registration is open from 12 to 28 June 2026, the written exam is scheduled for 12 July 2026, and the role offers a salary of R$3,036 plus a 20 % hazard allowance. Candidates must hold a complete high‑school education, reside in the district, and meet standard eligibility criteria such as a clean criminal record and military service for men.

Pedranópolis, also in São Paulo, released edital № 001/2026 for four immediate ACS vacancies, allocated between the municipal seat and the districts of Santa Izabel do Marinheiro and Dulcelina, with a reserve list for future hires. Applications are accepted from 29 June to 20 July 2026, and the written test will take place on 16 August 2026. The positions pay at least two national minimum wages, require a complete high‑school degree, local residence of at least two years, and a driver’s licence (category B). Both contests aim to strengthen primary health care by adding agents who will conduct household visits, health education, and coordination with local health units.
