Brazilian municipalities announce public job contests with salaries up to R$21,500

Several Brazilian municipalities have opened public recruitment contests and job vacancy listings. The Prefeitura of Cerro Grande do Sul (RS) posted five immediate positions—contator, eletricista, fonoaudiólogo and procurador—with salaries up to R$3,854.92 plus a R$700 meal allowance. In Araras (SP), the local Labor Office (PAT) released dozens of private‑sector openings in construction, logistics, transport and metalworking.

In Minas Gerais, the towns of Lagoa da Prata, Entre Rios de Minas and Congonhal together published more than 300 vacancies, offering salaries ranging from R$1,621 to R$21,489.70 for roles from administrative assistants to engineers and health workers. Paraná’s Paranapoema announced 38 municipal posts, the highest salary being R$13,597.37 for a medical position. Ponta Grossa (PR) launched a larger contest with 60 reserve‑list slots and salaries reaching R$14,756.74 for technical and professional posts.

All contests are administered by designated institutes, require online registration within June‑July 2026, and include benefits such as meal allowances, hazard pay for electricians and reservation quotas for people with disabilities and Afro‑descendants.
