Brazilian police recover multiple stolen vehicles in recent operations

Police forces in several Brazilian states arrested suspects and recovered stolen vehicles in a series of operations. In Atibaia (São Paulo) a man was caught after stealing a Fiat Uno and crashing it. In Nova Serrana (Minas Gerais) a Peugeot with a Rio de Janeiro theft record was seized, leading to the arrest of a 40‑year‑old driver for receptação. In Ribeirão Pires (São Paulo) a Ford Territory stolen in Santo André was intercepted after a suspect unlocked it with a remote. In Morumbi (São Paulo) suspects broke into a residence, stole jewelry and fled in a car with cloned plates, which was later recovered. In Guarantã do Norte (Mato Grosso) a motorcycle with a 2015 robbery record was seized and its rider detained. In Várzea Grande (Mato Grosso) a stolen Honda CG 160 was recovered alongside a suspected motorcycle dismantling site. The Polícia de Segurança Pública in Porto (Portugal) detained two men and recovered material worth almost €14 000 linked to recent thefts. Additional incidents involved the recovery of a stolen motorcycle in São José (Santa Catarina), the seizure of a vehicle with a cloned plate on the PA‑124 in Pará, and the capture of a driver with an adulterated vehicle identifier in Monte Azul Paulista. Advanced tools such as Detran’s Sentinela monitoring system and the SPIA AI‑based policing platform aided several detections.
