São Paulo police bust drug cache in Marília and raid bars in Limeira

The Military Police’s 9th Battalion in Marília, São Paulo, dismantled a residential drug‑storage site on Sunday, arresting one man and seizing a large quantity of paraphernalia, including 3,000 empty plastic caps used for cocaine, a balance, ready‑to‑sell portions, and cash exceeding R$1,000. A follow‑up search at a nearby apartment uncovered additional cocaine, further preparation supplies and about R$1,200 in cash.

In Limeira, the same police command launched “Operation Bar” on Wednesday night, deploying patrol units, ROCAM and municipal staff to inspect six bars and conduct preventive checks. Officers approached 55 individuals, inspected six cars, two motorcycles and eight drivers, aiming to curb drug trafficking, illegal weapons, public disturbances and other offenses.

Both actions are part of an interior‑state strategy to increase visible policing, disrupt drug distribution networks and enhance public safety in the region.
