São Paulo posts 30,000+ job openings and opens police officer cadet recruitment
The state of São Paulo began June with more than 30,000 job vacancies listed on the Catho platform, covering sectors such as sales, customer service, logistics, technology, health, construction, finance and human resources. Positions are available in various formats—including on‑site, hybrid and remote—and include opportunities for people with disabilities, apprentices and interns across the capital and cities like Guarulhos, Campinas, Osasco, São Bernardo do Campo, Santo André, Ribeirão Preto, Sorocaba and São José dos Campos.
Separately, the São Paulo Military Police announced online enrollment for a public competition offering 200 cadet‑officer slots. Applications are open until 15 July, with an initial salary of R$ 5,460.65. Candidates must be Brazilian, aged 17–30, hold a high‑school diploma and meet physical and documentary requirements. Exams are scheduled for 16 August, and successful candidates will train for four years at the Barro Branco Police Academy.
Both initiatives aim to expand employment and strengthen public‑security staffing in the state.
