São Paulo State Government expands infrastructure partnerships in Litoral Norte

The São Paulo State Government and municipal administrations in the Litoral Norte region are strengthening cooperation through significant infrastructure and social investments. In Caraguatatuba, state representatives inspected various public works projects funded by agreements between the state and the municipality. These investments, totaling over R$ 8.2 million from the state and R$ 4.3 million from the municipal treasury, include road paving and resurfacing in the Sumaré, Perequê-Mirim, and Jardim Britânia neighborhoods, as well as the construction of the South Zone Convention and Marine Life Studies Center.

In São Sebastião, the partnership between Governor Tarcísio de Freitas and Mayor Reinaldo Moreira has focused on education, housing, and mobility. Recent collaborative projects include the R$ 42.7 million Juquehy Educational Complex and the reconstruction of the Plínio Gonçalves de Oliveira Santos State School. Additionally, following the 2023 climate disaster, the state and municipality coordinated the delivery of 704 homes for affected families and the completion of the Tamoios Highway South Bypass.
