São Paulo Tennis Runner-Up as Brazilian Volleyball Season Schedule Unveiled

The Federação Paulista de Volleyball released the full schedule for the 2026 Campeonato Paulista Divisão Especial. The women's phase begins on 13 August with Paulistano Barueri versus Realizar in Barueri, followed by matches involving Cora São Caetano, Osasco São Cristóvão Saúde, Pinheiros, Renasce Sorocaba and SESI Vôlei Bauru. The men's competition starts on 20 August, opening with Viapol Vôlei São José against Sabesp Praia Grande in São José dos Campos, and includes eight clubs such as OBI Vôlei, SESI Bauru and Suzano Vôlei. Eight qualifying matches will be broadcast live on SporTV, with additional coverage planned on YouTube.

In tennis, the São Paulo delegation finished as runner‑up in the 2026 Copa das Federações held in Uberlândia, Minas Gerais. São Paulo tied with Paraná on 112 points, but Paraná claimed the title on the second tie‑break criterion (number of vice‑championships). Rio Grande do Sul placed third with 100 points. The competition featured athletes from 24 Brazilian states across the 12, 14, 16 and 18‑year categories in both genders. Federação Paulista de Tênis president Danilo Gaino praised the team's commitment and highlighted the collective effort of athletes, coaches and staff.
