São Paulo to host first South American FIP Gold padel tournament

São Paulo will host the FIP Gold São Paulo 2026 at Arena BTG from September 14 to 20. This marks the first time a Gold category competition from the International Padel Federation (FIP) official circuit will be held in South America.

The tournament features both men's and women's categories with a total prize pool of 50,000 euros. Athletes will compete for ranking points to advance in the professional international circuit. The event will be broadcast live via ESPN, Disney+, and the PlayBT YouTube channel.

The tournament arrives amid significant global growth for the sport. According to the FIP World Padel Report 2025, there are now over 35 million practitioners worldwide, supported by more than 24,600 clubs and 77,300 courts across 150 countries.
