São Paulo to host major beach tennis and skateboarding events in 2026
São Paulo will host two major sporting events at the Ibirapuera venue in 2026.
The third edition of the Champs Open beach tennis tournament is scheduled for October 2–4, 2026, at Arena Ibirapuera. The competition expects over 600 athletes across professional and amateur categories, including men’s, women’s, and mixed divisions. High-profile international participants include world number one Sophia Chow and Italian athlete Veronica Casadei. Matches will be broadcast live via the Programa Play BT YouTube channel.
Additionally, the SLS Super Crown World Championship 2026 will take place at the Ginásio do Ibirapuera on December 12–13. This marks the fifth consecutive year Brazil has hosted the Street League Skateboarding decision. The event will feature the new SLS Nations Cup, involving teams from Brazil, the United States, Japan, and the rest of the world. General ticket sales for the championship have commenced through Ticketmaster.
