São Paulo to Host Two Major Food Festivals in August 2026
São Paulo will host a free Mexican Gastronomy and Culture Festival in the Tatuapé neighborhood on August 8‑9, 2026. Organized by Art Shine Promoções e Eventos at Parque CERET, the two‑day event expects around 40,000 visitors and will feature Mexican dishes such as tacos, burritos, quesadillas, margaritas and vegan options, alongside cultural activities that lead up to the annual Día de Muertos celebrations.
Later in the month, the city’s largest culinary gathering, SP Gastronomia, will take place at Parque Villa‑Lobos (Ilha Musical) on August 21‑23 and August 28‑30. The festival will showcase more than 20 top restaurants, including A Casa do Porco, Mocotó and Grand Hyatt São Paulo, as well as new entrants like Camélia Òdòdó and Holy Burger. Visitors can explore a market of local producers offering cheeses, cured meats, olive oils and artisanal sweets, attend chef masterclasses, panels on sustainability, and enjoy live music throughout the weekends.
