São Paulo traffic: vehicle rotation and road closures reported

Traffic restrictions and road closures are affecting various regions in the state of São Paulo. In the city of São Paulo, the Municipal Vehicle Rotation (Rodízio) is in effect for specific license plate endings. For vehicles with plates ending in 7 and 8, restrictions apply on Thursdays, while plates ending in 9 and 0 are restricted on Fridays. These rules apply within the Expanded Center during the morning period (7:00 to 10:00) and the evening period (17:00 to 20:00). Violating these restrictions constitutes a medium infraction, resulting in a fine of R$ 130.16 and four points on the driver's license.

In Ribeirão Pires, traffic will be interrupted this Sunday from 8:00 to 9:30 to accommodate the 27th Volta Ciclística Internacional do Grande ABC. The closures will affect the Ribeirão Pires–Paranapiacaba Highway, Avenida Ernesto Menato, and Avenida Humberto de Campos. The cycling event, promoted by the Federação Paulista de Ciclismo, features international and Brazilian athletes traveling through seven municipalities in the Grande ABC region.
