Tabata Marques was attacked while walking her dog, Fumaça, on a sidewalk in Vila Bonilha, Pirituba, a district of São Paulo, Brazil. Security‑camera footage shows two men confronting her after she placed a bag of her dog's feces on a pile of trash bags. One man threw the feces‑filled bag at her, and the other man threw additional garbage bags in her direction. A second attacker kicked her, and the first delivered a punch that broke one of her teeth.

Marques, who is on antidepressants for depression and was walking on medical advice, said she does not recall all the words exchanged during the incident. Police were called by nearby residents, and the case was registered with the 87th Police District in Pirituba. The two men have not been located.

The assault was captured on public‑area surveillance cameras and reported by local media.
