São Tomé and Príncipe author Pedro Sequeira explores cultural cooperation in Portugal

São Tomé and Príncipe writer Pedro Sequeira recently completed a visit to Portugal, spanning from August 19 to September 9. During his stay, Sequeira participated in various literary events, including the Porto Book Fair and the Venteira Book Fair in Amadora.

His itinerary also included a Poetry Dinner and appearances on RTP. Sequeira, author of the novels “Leonor” and “O branco e a preta,” noted that the visit provided opportunities for exchange with other authors and readers. He indicated that the connections established could lead to future cooperation in the fields of publishing, poetry, and theater, helping to facilitate the circulation of literature from São Tomé and Príncipe.
