São Vicente authorities arrest man for stealing cables from Ponte Pênsil

A man was arrested in flagrante while stealing copper cables from the Ponte Pênsil structure in São Vicente. The incident occurred around 1:24 AM on Thursday.

Municipal Guard (GCM) agents identified the suspect through the city's video monitoring system. After noticing suspicious activity, officers were dispatched to the location and apprehended the individual while he was still on the bridge. Authorities seized approximately ten meters of cut copper wire and the pliers used to sever the cables. The suspect was taken to the 1st Police District following medical examinations.
