São Vicente Municipal Civil Guard welcomes two new canine members

The Municipal Civil Guard (GCM) of São Vicente, located on the coast of São Paulo, has welcomed two new Belgian Malinois puppies, Logan and Akeem, to its canine unit.

Arriving at approximately 60 days old, the puppies' names were selected through a popular public vote. Logan's name is a reference to the character Wolverine, while Akeem is inspired by the character from the film "Coming to America."

The animals will undergo specialized training to prepare them for various roles, including supporting police operations, searching for and locating individuals, narcotics detection, and patrolling. Additionally, they may be utilized for educational activities and community outreach programs.
