Sabesp, the state sanitation company, has announced that repairs are scheduled to begin on Tuesday, the 22nd. The maintenance work is being coordinated with the Highway Police to ensure worker safety and maintain traffic flow. Sabesp stated it is investing in modernizing old infrastructure to reduce the frequency of such leaks.
