SOA University holds orientation for pharmaceutical sciences students

The School of Pharmaceutical Sciences (SPS) at SOA Deemed to be University in Bhubaneswar conducted a two-day orientation program for newly admitted B. Pharm and M. Pharm students for the 2026–27 academic session.

The program was designed to familiarize students with the academic environment, institutional regulations, student support services, and various career opportunities within the pharmaceutical profession. Sessions covered examination regulations, hostel rules, and institutional guidelines to assist with the transition to university life.

A key component of the event was an interactive panel discussion featuring distinguished alumni from sectors including the Merck Group, IQVIA, and the Directorate of Drugs Control, Government of Odisha. The discussion provided insights into industry expectations, regulatory affairs, drug safety, and professional development.
