Soacha holds public meeting for School Feeding Program

The Secretary of Education in Soacha held the second public meeting for the School Feeding Program (PAE) for the 2026 term. The session focused on accountability regarding the technical, administrative, and financial management of the program.

Resources for the program average more than 3.6 billion pesos per month, funded by local taxes and contributions from the Ministry of Education through the Special Administrative Unit for School Feeding, Alimentos para Aprender (UApA). The meeting allowed for dialogue between the administration, service operators, teachers, students, and caregivers to evaluate service quality and ensure nutritional goals and school retention are met.
