Soba festivals held in Shintoku and Sugito
Various soba-themed festivals are being held in Japan. In Shintoku, the 23rd Shintoku New Soba Festival took place on September 27, drawing many families to enjoy fresh, fragrant buckwheat noodles.
Additionally, the National Local Soba Festival in Sugito 2026 is scheduled for November 7 and 8 at the Agri Park Yume Sugito roadside station in Saitama Prefecture. The event will feature regional varieties, including Echigo Tokamachi Hegi Soba from Kojimaya, and will offer activities such as soba-making experiences.
