SOCGOV 2026 forum held in Khankendi

The international forum “SOCGOV 2026: Digital Analytics for Smart Governance” took place in Khankendi, focusing on the digital transformation of social services and the implementation of smart management models.

During the event, the “AI4DOST Social Award 2026” winners were announced. The competition received 84 project submissions, including 32 from countries such as Ukraine, Greece, Uzbekistan, and Russia. The awards covered categories including AI-based digital solutions for social sectors, social volunteering, scientific contributions, and regional social initiatives.

High-level bilateral meetings were held on the sidelines of the forum. Azerbaijani Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, Anar Aliyev, met with Turkish Minister of Labor and Social Protection, Vedat Işıkhan, to discuss cooperation in digitalizing social services and exchanging international expertise. Aliyev also met with Sirojiddin Abdullayev, Deputy Director of the National Social Protection Agency under the President of Uzbekistan, to discuss social reforms and the expansion of digital services.
