Social Affairs Minister Saifullah Yusuf praises digital social protection agent

Indonesian Social Affairs Minister Saifullah Yusuf, also known as Gus Ipul, has commended Rosdiana, a social protection agent from Gowa Regency, for her efficiency in registering hundreds of citizens into the digital social protection system within just two weeks.

During a dialogue with data operators at the Makassar Hajj Dormitory in South Sulawesi, Yusuf emphasized the strategic role of village and sub-district data operators. He noted that these operators are responsible for inputting critical information into the Next Generation Social Welfare Information System (SIKS-NG), which directly impacts the accuracy of national social data.

Yusuf stressed that accurate data is the foundation for effective social protection, rehabilitation, and empowerment programs. He warned that errors made by operators at the local level can compromise the entire data update process. This initiative aligns with efforts to improve data accuracy following Presidential Instruction Number 4 of 2025 regarding the National Socio-Economic Single Data.
