Social and food assistance programs deployed in Venezuela

Social and food assistance programs have been deployed across various regions in Venezuela to support local communities. In Ciudad Bolivia, Barinas, a comprehensive social mission led by Governor Adán Chávez provided 484 medical consultations. Services included pediatrics, gynecology, ophthalmology, and dentistry, alongside diagnostic tests such as X-rays and electrocardiograms. The initiative also offered free eyeglasses, deworming, and social services for the elderly and people with disabilities.

In the Muñoz municipality, the Venezuelan Food Producer and Distributor (PDVAL) completed a mass dispatch of five metric tons of essential food products to the Bruzual parish. This distribution targeted the Villa Bruzual and Tiamitas Abajo sectors, aiming to provide food security and combat commercial speculation. The program reportedly offered savings of between 30% and 70% compared to private retail prices.
