Social and Health Services Center in Plovdiv celebrates second anniversary

The Social and Health Services Center (CSZU), part of the Complex for Social Services for Children and Families (KSUDS) in Plovdiv, is celebrating its second anniversary. To mark the occasion, the center in the Stolipinovo neighborhood is hosting a celebratory event and an open house on September 1, 2026.

The program includes a musical performance by children attending the center and a special celebration for Sanie Yusufova’s 100th birthday. During the open house, residents can participate in art and computer activities and receive free consultations from a doctor, psychologist, and lawyer. Medical consultations will focus on child development, disease prevention, and healthy habits, while legal support will address parental rights and administrative procedures. Psychological support will cover child upbringing and family conflict resolution.

Director Nedka Vasileva noted that the center serves as a vital link between the local community and municipal institutions. The facility aims to help residents navigate complex social and administrative networks. To facilitate this, educational mediators provide daily assistance, and over half of the staff are members of the local community. The center has also expanded its focus to include health culture and prevention, recently adding a doctor to its team.
