Social and maritime events held on the French Riviera

Various community and social initiatives took place on the Côte d’Azur in October. In Mandelieu-La-Napoule, 324 former miners and their descendants from the Bassin minier participated in a ten-day stay at the Domaine d’Agecroft. Organized by Miléade in partnership with Secours Populaire du Pas-de-Calais and supported by Maisons & Cités, the trip commemorated the 90th anniversary of paid leave. The event focused on social tourism and the preservation of the human and social history of mining communities.

Additionally, the Centre Nautique Sèvre et Loire organized a sailing excursion in Le Lavandou. A flotilla of eight boats and thirty sailors traveled to the region to navigate the Cavalière bay. The group utilized local services at the La Voile de Cavalière club to facilitate their maritime activities.
