Social assistance initiatives launched in Cuiabá and Maricá
In Cuiabá, the Municipal Secretariat of Social Assistance, Human Rights and Inclusion is hosting a social action event titled ‘Juntos por mais direitos e oportunidades’ at the CRAS Osmar Cabral. The event, scheduled for Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, provides services including Cadastro Único updates, Energisa debt negotiation and social tariff access, and Community Justice guidance. The initiative is open to residents of the entire Southern Region.
In Maricá, the local government is intensifying social assistance efforts to support families impacted by recent heavy rains. The Secretariat of Social Assistance and Citizenship is deploying teams to various territories to monitor needs and provide guidance through Social Assistance Reference Centers (CRAS) to ensure residents can access necessary socio-assistential networks.
