Brazil municipalities host various Children's Month celebrations

Various municipalities across Brazil are hosting recreational events and festivals to celebrate Children's Month and promote social integration.

In Campo Grande, the Fest Kids 2026 event has commenced, featuring dance, music, and capoeira performances for children from several social assistance units. Similarly, the Municipal Secretariat of Social Assistance and Citizenship organized a recreational day for children in institutional care units.

Other regional celebrations include a large-scale event in Porto Velho at Parque da Cidade, which drew approximately 40,000 people for cultural activities and gift giveaways. In Pão de Açúcar, an event involving 3,000 participants offered games and snacks, while the government of Acre held a program in Rio Branco to distribute toys and provide educational activities.

In Várzea Grande, local authorities organized gatherings at various Social Assistance Reference Centers (CRAS) to strengthen community bonds through games and social interaction.
