Social inclusion initiatives launch in Sassuolo and Varese

Several social inclusion initiatives are launching in Italy. In Sassuolo, the Italian Red Cross (Croce Rossa Italiana) has announced the reopening of Casa CRI, a solidarity emporium, on September 27. The facility had previously closed for relocation and restructuring to better serve local families in need.

In Varese, the Siloam social cooperative has launched ‘In Mensa,’ an inclusive catering service located on via J. H. Dunant. The project involves ten young people with disabilities working alongside tutors. Following an experimental week of training in food hygiene and safety, the service has transitioned to regular operations, seeing a steady increase in daily customers.
