Social infrastructure projects launched in Montpellier and Dole

In Montpellier, TAUTEM Architecture has delivered the Espace Ambroise Croizat, a 1,370 m² third-place facility designed to promote social inclusion and digital access. Developed for the CCAS de Montpellier at a cost of €3.6 million, the project transforms a former social experimentation center into a multi-use space. It features social support areas, a digital hub, modular workshops, a social grocery store, a pedagogical kitchen, and emergency housing, all centered around a shared garden.

In Dole, a new residential project is being developed in the Landon district to consolidate existing social services. A convention between the public educational and social establishment (Etapes) and Grand Dole Habitat will see two separate living centers merged into a single facility consisting of ten pavilions. The project aims to combine housing with medico-social support and environmental preservation. The facility is expected to maintain 48 rooms and is slated for completion between late 2029 and early 2030, with the symbolic first stone expected in June 2027.
