Social initiatives provide school supplies in Morocco and Egypt

Various social initiatives are underway in Morocco and Egypt to support students and families ahead of the new school year.

In Morocco, the ‘Afaq’ initiative, led by the National Federation of Game Halls and Spaces under the presidency of Moulay Cherif Zein El Abidine, is distributing school bags and supplies to approximately 100 students. Beyond providing materials, the initiative is covering full tuition costs for ten students across various public and private educational institutions to ensure educational continuity.

In Egypt, the Ministry of Social Solidarity, in partnership with the Misr El Kheir Foundation and the Fund for Supporting Projects of Civil Society Organizations, has launched the ‘Tomorrow is School’ initiative. The first phase aims to provide integrated school kits to approximately 40,000 students from underprivileged families in primary and preparatory stages. Beneficiaries are notified of collection details via SMS and can use secure electronic service vouchers to receive their supplies.
