Social media users react to viral photos of cats in unusual poses

Viral social media posts featuring cats in peculiar positions have captured the attention of internet users. One Threads post by user Linden features a white cat wedged in a sofa gap, where its long front legs appear to stretch down toward the floor in a way that creates an optical illusion. The owner noted that the appearance is a result of camera angles and mentioned the cat also has an unusually long tail.

In a separate post on X, user Migii shared a photo of an 11-year-old cat named Rin. The cat was photographed lying under a bed with its left front paw extended upward, appearing to support the bed frame. The owner noted that this is a habitual pose for the cat, which spends several hours a day in that spot. The post received international engagement, with users from various countries commenting on the cat's seemingly supportive role.
