Social Security July payment schedule for U.S. beneficiaries released

The Social Security Administration announced the July 2026 payment dates for retirement, disability and survivor benefits. Beneficiaries who began receiving payments before May 1997 will be paid on Thursday, July 2. Those whose birth dates fall between the 1st‑10th of the month receive their check on July 8 (second Wednesday), the 11th‑20th on July 15 (third Wednesday) and the 21st‑31st on July 22 (fourth Wednesday).

Supplemental Security Income (SSI) payments are scheduled for Wednesday, July 1. Because August 1 falls on a Saturday, the August SSI payment will be issued on Friday, July 31. Recipients who do not see their electronic payment on the expected date are advised to first contact their bank and, if needed, report the issue to the Social Security Administration via its toll‑free hotline or local office.
