The Trust emphasized that its assets are held for the benefit of contributors and beneficiaries, and it intends to take legal action to recover any encroached properties.
In Nigeria, the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) alerted the public to fake recruitment advertisements and fraudulent appointment letters circulating on social media, particularly Facebook. Executive Director of Administration Samaila Abdu, Esq. clarified that the Fund is not currently recruiting and does not charge fees for employment. The NSITF advised citizens to ignore unofficial advertisements and use only official channels for any future recruitment information.
