Social support services announced in Stargard and Siemianowice Śląskie
In Stargard, an intervention team consisting of municipal social welfare workers, police, city guard, and representatives from Caritas and the Association of Homeless People is preparing for winter assistance. The city utilizes a multi-faceted system to support those in crisis, including streetworking, shelters, warming centers, and supported housing. Local authorities and emergency services conduct regular visits to known locations of people experiencing homelessness to provide aid.
In Siemianowice Śląskie, the Crisis Intervention Center (OIK) has released its November schedule for community support. The center is offering free legal aid to residents in difficult life situations, with consultations available on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Additionally, the center is hosting 'Parent School' sessions throughout the month, covering topics such as boundaries, hygiene, communication, and conflict management.
