Social welfare organizations in Mexico expand community and health services

Social assistance organizations in Mexico have announced new initiatives to support vulnerable populations. In Torreón, the DIF Torreón hosted children and families from civil society organizations, including Casa Hogar Abrázame and Casa Feliz, at its APollos DIF stand during the Torreón Fair. The event aimed to foster community interaction and recognize the work of institutions providing care to children at risk and those facing cancer.

In Monterrey, DIF Monterrey has reopened the Clínica de Atención Integral al Autismo (CAIA) following a comprehensive rehabilitation process. The renovated facility includes specialized areas for neuropsychiatry, art therapy, multisensory stimulation, and digital technology to support the development of children and adolescents with autism. The upgrades were designed based on feedback from parents to better meet the therapeutic needs of users.
