Social welfare project launched to support workers' living costs
A new social welfare project has been launched to support workers by providing access to essential goods, including food, cosmetics, and consumer products. The initiative aims to offer high-quality items with clear origins at prices approximately 5% to 15% lower than market rates, depending on the product group and supplier.
Phan Thi My Yen, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Brand Development Research Center, stated that the project focuses on reducing living costs for workers while encouraging the consumption of Vietnamese branded goods. Dr. Huynh Minh Chin, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health, emphasized the necessity of ensuring food safety and hygiene standards for all products distributed through the program.
