Socialdemokraterna face criticism over criminal sentencing stance

However, the party has submitted a motion to the Riksdag to reject the government's entire proposal regarding new regulations for sentencing in cases of multiple offenses.

This discrepancy has led to accusations of hypocrisy from various political commentators and members of parliament, as the party's legislative action appears to contradict the public messaging regarding stricter penalties for serious crime.
