Socialdemokraterna in Stockholm removes TikTok post featuring convicted rappers

The Social Democratic Party in Stockholm has removed a TikTok post after it featured images of convicted gangster rappers. The post, shared via the account ‘forortssossar’, depicted two men who have been convicted of various crimes, including weapons offenses, robbery, and narcotics offenses.

Andrea Törnestam, a communications secretary for the Social Democrats in Stockholm, stated that the post has been taken down and that the party does not stand behind it. She noted that publication routines were not followed and that the party has since tightened its procedures and held discussions with the member responsible for the post.

Benjamin Dousa, the Minister for International Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade, criticized the incident, stating that the individuals pictured are not role models and that Magdalena Andersson should be ashamed of the post.
