Socialist Party secretariat in Zinjibar holds regular meeting

The secretariat of the Socialist Party in the Zinjibar district of Abyan Governorate held its regular meeting, chaired by Mustafa Salem Al-Halimi, a member of the Central Committee and first secretary of the party organization in the district.

The meeting reviewed organizational activities from January to September, including reports from the women's department. Key agenda items included planning consultative meetings with grassroots organizations to strengthen communication and preparing for an upcoming youth conference.

Beyond organizational matters, the secretariat addressed several urgent local issues affecting citizens. These include deteriorating living and service conditions, rising commodity prices, a shortage of domestic cooking gas, and sewage overflows in the streets of Zinjibar. The group also discussed the increasing humanitarian and living needs of displaced persons arriving in the capital, calling on local authorities to take responsibility and find urgent solutions to these service crises.
