Sociedad Civil Española organizes protest in Madrid

The platform Sociedad Civil Española organized the ‘Second March for Dignity in Defense of Spain’ in Madrid. The demonstration received support from the political parties Vox and the Partido Popular (PP).

Protesters called for the dissolution of the current parliament and the calling of general elections, specifically demanding that President Pedro Sánchez convene elections no later than November 15. The march also addressed concerns regarding immigration following mass arrivals in Ceuta in late July. Vox leaders, including Santiago Abascal, participated in the event, with the party suggesting that Sánchez should face trial for treason.
