Sociedad Civil Española organizes second Madrid march

Sociedad Civil Española (SCE) and approximately 200 affiliated entities have organized the second ‘March for Dignity’ in Madrid, scheduled for September 26, 2026. The demonstration will begin at 10:00 AM at Plaza Cibeles and proceed through Alcalá, Gran Vía, and Princesa streets, concluding at the Arco del Triunfo.

The organizers are calling for immediate general elections, proposing a deadline of November 15, citing an unsustainable national situation. The protest aims to defend Spain’s territorial integrity and European borders, specifically regarding Ceuta and Melilla. Additionally, the movement expresses support for judges, prosecutors, emergency services, and public officials.

Described as a transversal act, the march invites participation from various social sectors, professional collectives, and political parties. The event will conclude with the reading of a manifesto and the performance of the National Anthem.
