Sociedad Italiana de San Antonio de Areco celebrates 145 years

The Sociedad Italiana de San Antonio de Areco celebrated its 145th anniversary at the Cine Teatro Vieytes. The event included tributes to families, workshop leaders, local merchants, and collaborators who have sustained the institution over generations.

During the ceremony, a commemorative plaque was unveiled in the theater hall. Artistic director Daniel Lambertini emphasized that preserving the institution's legacy involves more than maintaining the building; it requires active community participation and projecting the cultural space into the future through workshops and local performances.
