Sociedade Mineira de Engenharia promotes INOVATEC technology debates

The Sociedade Mineira de Engenharia (SME) is promoting the INOVATEC initiative through its Innovation and Technology Commission. The program aims to bridge technical knowledge with practical experience by bringing together professionals, researchers, students, and public officials to discuss digital transformation and its applications.

Recent sessions have focused on the practical impacts of technology across various sectors. An event held in April 2026 centered on artificial intelligence and digital transformation, covering topics such as AI applications in the steel industry, science and technology public policies, and the impact of AI on corporate environments and education.
