Society of Writers of Macedonia to host Poetic Morning event

The Society of Writers of Macedonia (DPM) will host ‘Poetic Morning,’ a literary gathering dedicated to authors from national communities creating in Macedonia, as well as authors who write in two or more languages.

The event features participants Vera Čornij-Meškova, Ljerka Tot-Naumova, Kaljoš Čeliku, Rifat Emin, Gordana Jović-Stojkovska, Ahmet Selmani, and Suzana V. Spasovska, with Seida Beganović serving as moderator. The program includes readings of original works followed by a panel discussion titled ‘Two homes – one language, two languages – one home.’

The discussion will focus on the experiences of authors working across multiple linguistic and cultural environments, their place in the literary landscape, and strategies for increasing their visibility and affirmation. This event is intended to be the first in a series of literary meetings aimed at providing a platform for diverse voices that enrich the Macedonian cultural scene.
