Socoleni community transforms former stadium into green space

Approximately 100 volunteers gathered in the village of Socoleni, Anenii Noi district, on September 27 to transform a former stadium into a community green space. The group planted over 350 trees of various species, including firs, birches, and maples.

To foster a personal connection to the project, each tree is being named after the individual who planted it, allowing locals to return in the future to visit their specific trees. Participants included local residents and youth from the District Youth Center of Anenii Noi. The initiative aims to create a healthier environment and a dedicated area for walking and relaxation for the community.
