Socorro Fernández Larrea, OHLA independent director, has died

The OHLA Group has announced the death of Socorro Fernández Larrea, an independent director for the company. Fernández Larrea also served as a director for Cementos Molins and Redeia, where she chaired the Appointments Committee.

A civil engineer graduated from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, she had an extensive career across the construction, telecommunications, energy, and services sectors. Her previous roles included positions at Amper, Copisa, and Ferrovial. In 2021, she received the Premio Caminos Madrid for Outstanding Engineer.

OHLA's board of directors expressed condolences, praising her professional commitment and contributions to the company. Following the notification to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV), the company's appointments and remuneration committee will meet to review the composition of the board and propose necessary adjustments.
